So to kick off the beginning of the weekend, the 12th graders took us on what they call a rally. That pretty much means scavenger hunt. Or pretty much just leaving school to do something more fun. This car that we're in is a little two door Volkswagen. But we crammed 7 people in there in order to go to breakfast without walking in the freezing rain. Along this drive we introduced the 12th graders to some of the hot American music which might be hot in Germany in the coming months. They loved all of it. Then we also discussed the cultural differences over a traditional German breakfast. Also this weekend, two of our wonderful hosts, Eli and Carolina had a birthday. We all wished them a nice Happy Birthday by having a little traditional birthday party! Tonight, we are going to a German restaurant in the old town to watch the Germany vs. Team USA soccer game!
